We met at Campus Plaza Apartments! I honestly believed I would never find anyone even in the ballpark of marriage at that place, but somehow, we found love in a hopeless place.
I think it's a pretty typical story for a lot of BYU goers. We were in the same ward, we saw each other in passing a lot, we had a mutual friend (in my case, sibling), we started talking, we hung out, all we wanted to do was be with each other, Preston fell madly in love with me, and we started dating.
Our first date was magical and devastating at the same time. He brought me a rose, we had a great time bowling, we held hands for the first time, and then Preston told me he wanted to be "friends."
But of course after a week of being friends he realized he was crazy for wanting only friendship and just had to date me! Of course he was the only boy I wanted to be with, so we started dating.
7 months later we knew that we wanted to get married. 9 months after that (with a 4 month summer apart) we got engaged. 5 months later we were married on May 17th!
And now I am the happiest I've ever been and married to the most wonderful, caring, hardworking, cutest man that I know! <3
